We are seeking volunteer interns this summer to help us develop another 600+ square feet of garden bed space in which to grow organic produce for our local unhoused and low-income neighbors.
Who
Passionate individuals ages 14-94!
Where
4111 Alma St, Palo Alto (in front of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church)
When
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-noon and Saturdays, 9-11am
For 8 weeks, June 11th- August 1st (no workday 7/4)
Why
1) You’ll get in shape doing some physically hard but meaningful work.
2) You’ll learn a lot about how to set up a large organic vegetable garden,
through short weekly classes, demonstrations and lots of practical application!
3) You'll make friends, enjoy lots of time outside, and be a part of something great :).
4) You'll get a letter regarding your contribution to the garden and plenty of
volunteer hours if you need them for any reason.
